Experiences at Dr. Roger‘s office

I do not usually write reviews about doctor’s appointments, but in this case, I felt compelled to speak up. My wife and I scheduled full body skin checks with Dr. Henry Heaton months in advance. We made the appointments in person while my wife was already seeing Dr. Heaton for another issue, and the appointments were confirmed. When we arrived, we checked in and waited to be called in. I was called first, even though my wife’s appointment was scheduled for that time. I was then told I would be seeing Dr. Ragi instead. I explained that I had specifically scheduled with Dr. Heaton. At that point, I was told that Dr. Heaton would not be seeing me that day. He is only seeing women patients that day. I received no prior notice that my appointment would be changed. I found the experience frustrating and unprofessional, especially after waiting months for the appointment. I have since chosen to continue my dermatology care with a different office that better fits my expectations regarding scheduling and communication.

Dr. Heaton is amazing so patient so kind and Reassuring. Even took the time to find several photos to show me. Emily was great, answering my questions. Barbara handled my first call and had a great phone manner and handled the scheduling perfectly. Dr. Heaton gets a 10 plus from me so far. I have never been to an office that runs as efficiently. Barely sat down and was called immediately into examining room. Thanks for valuing your patients time.
