Gangaram Ragi, M.D.
Dr. Ragi is the director, Laser and Mohs Surgeon of Advanced Laser and Skin Cancer Center having performed over 15,000 skin cancer and laser surgeries over the past 20 years while seeing over 50,000 patients. Dr. Ragi is one of the most knowledgeable practitioners of Mohs Surgery in the world who taught hundreds of dermatology residents and medical students and currently trains Mohs Surgeons. Dr. Ragi has done research in skin cancer and published several scientific articles and gave lectures at medical conferences.
Dr. Ragi is a board certified dermatologist and is a fellow of American College of Mohs Surgery who was trained by Dr. Frederic Mohs (invented Mohs surgery), Dr. Stephen Snow, and Dr. Paul Larson at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
Prior to Mohs Surgery fellowship Dr. Ragi completed a fellow in Dermatologic Surgery and Oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, New York and a dermatology residency at SUNY at Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Ragi was the chief of Mohs Surgery and assistant clinical professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine NY. He was the chief of dermatology at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck and he was president of Dermatology Society of New Jersey.
Dr. Ragi is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Cutaneous Oncology, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and American Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine.
Dr. Ragi is married with two kids, and in his free time he enjoys nature, art and humanistic endeavors.
